Combustion Management Skid (CMS)

The Combustion Management Skid (CMS) is a fully engineered, pre‑assembled fuel‑train and control solution designed to simplify installation and ensure safe, reliable combustion performance. Built using 1"–4" nominal pipe-sized code-piping, the CMS can handle heat‑release capacities up to 100 MMBtu/hr, making it suitable for a broad range of heater applications.

Key Features:

  • Designed according to ASME and NFPA codes to assure safe and reliable operation of the fuel, as well as safety interlocks to assure the system monitors and continually checks the process to avoid any errant fuel and ignition within the heater.
  • Optional insulation and heat tracing are available for temperature‑rated equipment operating in harsh environments around the world
  • Multi-fuel compatible, including gaseous fuel, liquid fuel (distillate to #2 oil), combination gas and oil, and low BTU fuel supplemented with fuel blending
  • Skids are built for fast installation, minimize on-site labor, and ensure rapid startup

Circulation Skid

Circulation skids are designed to fit any hot-oil heater or thermal-fluid application. Its modular design allows the skid to be expanded as needed to meet required flow rates, incorporate filtration, and support an expansion tank, whether mounted on the skid or installed separately in the plant pipe rack. Systems can be furnished with a single 100% pump or dual 50% pumps, depending on client requirements.

Key Features:

  • All circulation skids are designed in accordance with industry-standard codes (ASME, ANSI, NEC, etc.)

  •   Insulation option on piping and valves, with expansion tanks insulated at fabrication and protected for transport

  • ANSI pumps are standard, with optional API pump configurations available when applications require
  • Operator-friendly layout, designed for easy access to valves, hand-wheels, and motor wiring
  • Checker deck, diamond plating, or grating are standard on each design or can be added as required
  • Delivered as a single integrated skid, with easy lift points for rapid installation

Zeeco’s Engineered Heater Studies provide a comprehensive evaluation of existing fired heaters to determine the best approach for improving performance, efficiency, emissions, or capacity. A qualified Zeeco combustion engineer conducts a detailed site visit to assess heater condition, understand process requirements, and
document operational challenges. The result is a tailored engineering report outlining recommended upgrades, revamp options, and optimization strategies.

Operators typically request heater studies when facing new emissions targets, efficiency improvements, capacity increases, or changes in operating conditions. Whether the solution is a simple burner retrofit or a full heater revamp, Zeeco identifies the most effective path to achieving long‑term, reliable performance.
